Director of Residential Programs

The Director of Residential Programs will have significant responsibilities pertaining to the success and operation of the CBRP housing portfolio. The Director of Residential Programs will oversee the coordination and administration of all aspects of the Bissonette House Transitional Residence Program including but not limited to monthly contract reporting, CBRP team member hiring and support, referral management, as well as program monitoring, oversight, and continued program development. The Director of Residential Programs will also serve as the agency’s PREA compliance officer. All actions taken by the Director of Residential Programs will align with the mission and core values of Peaceprints of WNY. 

• The Director of Residential Programs will have the courage and dedication to implement and improve all aspects of the Bissonette CBRP with the best interests of our population in mind. 

• Plan the delivery of the overall program and its activities in accordance with Peaceprints of WNY program goals. 

• Develop new and up to date training for the entire Bissonette team. 

• Initiate and set goals for the Bissonette House Program. 

• Develop and approve budgets and operations. 

• Keep track and document program deadlines, milestones, and grant monies. 

• Develop a program evaluation method to assess the strengths of the program and identify areas for improvement. 

• Communicate with community members and other stakeholders to gain support for Bissonette House and its participants. 

• Oversee the collection and maintenance of records pertaining to clients for statistical purposes and confidentiality. 

• Recruit, interview and select passionate, qualified staff for the program. 

• Ensure all staff members and volunteers receive appropriate orientation to the program. 

• Create a process to ensure ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness and efficiency of Bissonette House programming. 

• Write reports on Bissonette House for the CEO and funders. 

• Communicate with funders as outlined in the funding agreements. 

• Monitor and improve all budgeted programs expenditures. 

• Ensure that all financial records for the program are up to date. 

• Monitor Bissonette House on a regular basis and conduct quarterly program evaluations. 

• Other duties may be assigned. 

• Interest in data collection, data analysis and the implementation of data findings into practice. Strong written and verbal communication skills; the ideal candidate will have knowledge of grant writing. 

• Action-orientated, entrepreneurial, adaptive, and innovative approach to planning. 

• Ability to govern other team members and make decisions for the entire Project.  

• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people. 

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and vehicle to use in performance of job. Position requires some travel within the City of Buffalo. 

• Must be able to pass criminal background and child and adult maltreatment screens and a preemployment drug screen
